Embrace the suck

When working with clients, I often teach them to embrace the suck. Life is different right now and it is. If we spend our time fighting against it, instead of rolling with it, we find ourselves fighting quicksand. How can you work with what you have to make your days better?

Start by assessing what you did, prior to the new normal, to take care of yourself. Did you go to the gym on a regular basis, spend time socializing with friends, or enjoy quiet time at home after a long week? You may be unable to do these things right now, but you can work to find an alternative.
